Mayapple

Mayapple is a herbaceous perennial plant native to eastern North America. It typically grows in colonies in moist, wooded areas and features umbrella-like, deeply lobed leaves that can grow up to 12 inches across. The plant usually produces one white flower per stem in late spring, which eventually develops into a small, edible fruit when ripe.
