Description
The Tulip Poplar, also known as the Yellow Poplar, is a large deciduous tree native to eastern North America. It is known for its tall, straight trunk and distinctive tulip-shaped flowers. The tree is a member of the magnolia family and can grow rapidly to reach significant heights, making it one of the tallest Eastern hardwoods. Its leaves are uniquely shaped with four lobes, resembling a cat's face.
