Dense Blazing Star

Dense Blazing Star, or Liatris spicata, is a herbaceous perennial known for its tall, slender spikes of beautiful purple flowers. These flowers bloom from top to bottom, giving the plant an extended blooming period as it progresses down the spike. It is native to Eastern North America and is commonly found in moist prairies and marshlands. This plant attracts a variety of pollinators including butterflies and bees.
