Creeping Lespedeza

Creeping Lespedeza, or Lespedeza repens, is a low-growing, mat-forming perennial plant native to the southeastern United States. Typically found in meadows, pine forests, and along roadsides, it is well-adapted to sunny environments. This plant is part of the pea family and possesses small, trifoliate leaves and pink to purplish flowers that appear in late summer. It often serves as ground cover due to its spreading habit.
