Indian Physic

Indian Physic, or Gillenia stipulata, is a herbaceous perennial that is native to North America, particularly found in woodlands and thickets. It is known for its attractive, delicate, white star-shaped flowers which appear to flutter like butterflies over the plant. Its foliage turns a striking shade of red in the fall, adding to its ornamental value in gardens.
