Description

The Rose Turtlehead is a clump-forming herbaceous perennial native to moist, shady areas like streambanks and wetlands in the eastern United States. It is known for its distinctive, rose-pink, snapdragon-like flowers which resemble a turtle's head, hence the name. The leaves are mostly ovate, medium to dark green, and coarsely serrated, providing interest even when not in bloom.
