Description
Eastern Star Sedge is a graceful, clump-forming perennial sedge native to the eastern United States. It is often found in moist woods and prefers lightly acidic soils. Its arching, narrow leaves are bright green and maintain their color throughout the growing season. The plant is notable for its delicate, star-like flower spikes and seed heads which appear in late spring to early summer.
