Description

The Sugar Maple is a deciduous tree best known for its brilliant fall foliage and for being one of the primary sources of sap for maple syrup. It is native to the hardwood forests of eastern Canada and the northern parts of the Central and Northeastern United States. Sugar Maples are large trees with a dense, rounded crown and leaves characterized by five pointed lobes.
